Crazy Day

This morning I wake up to the lovely sounds of 1 kids coughing and the other vomiting. I'll just say this was not what I was looking for to start my day. Luckily enough, the vomiting was only due to excessive sinus drainage overnight & did not return once the offending material was expelled, and cough medicne made the cough manageable most of the day.
I spent the majority of my day babysitting my 2 nephews ages 3 & 9 months old. My kids & their 3 year old cousin spent most of the day upstairs occupying themselves, with a small break in the middle of the day to dance to the Imagination Movers CD Sam got for Christmas.
I hung out the little guy & also took on Boeuf Bourginon from my Julia Child "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" cook book. This was not the simplest of undertakings, as the little man was a little upset today. He's never spent much time at my house & (of course) would prefer to be with his mommy.
Believe it or not, my recipe came out better than I thought it would, and my nephew had finally settled in by the time his mom got back. My kids, had exhausted most of their energy playing & basically Veg'd out in front of the TV for the rest of the night.
