Heading Back to Normalcy

After a few days of ice, snow, school calamity days and internet outages, things started to get back to normal today. The kids only had a 2 hour delay for school instead of no school. They went to their sparring class at martial arts, and we got 2 new fish for our fish tank.
When I left to get the kids from school, I opened to cover to my sun roof on the car to see how much ice was left on it. (quite a bit) I decided it was pretty cool looking and wanted to take a picture of it. That picture didn't turn out all that great, but while I was outside to take that picture, my dogs were both being super cute barking at me through the fence.
This is Wimbley. He is a Labradoodle & is only 8 months old. He is SO fuzzy we decided to name him after a Fraggle. When my mother-in-law got her first Labradoodle I had a friend point out how she thought the puppy looked like a Fraggle & it stuck with us until we got one of her puppies 3 years later.

Ginny is our "mutt puppy" and she is a little over 2 years old. We don't know her exact birthday, but we guess its in August sometime. We've had Gin Gin since she was about 6-8 weeks old. She was neglected by her previous owner & had never seen the vet. Poor thing still eats her food like she thinks she'll never get another bowl.
Ginny and Wimbley play ALL the time! Most of the time their play starts out like this, with a smack in the face from Wimbles. Wimbley uses his front paws like hands, I swear sometimes he waves hello at me!!

On my way back into the house from my picture taking expedition, I spy this...

Apparently the whole time I was outside my son was keeping tabs on me!
