Valentine's Preperation

For those of you who may not know, I make peanut butter buckeyes every year at Christmastime, and every year my husband complains that he doesn't get enough buckeyes. So this year I thought I'd make him some for Valentines Day.

I went through my candy making stuff and found my heart-shaped candy molds, and my peanut butter cup molds. As it turns out, I had a candy mold for conversation hearts. I mixed up my peanut butter buckeye filling, left it a touch softer since I would not need to be forming it into balls, and got started melting my chocolate.

So, to tempt you all, here are some pictures of my Valentine's buckeyes...

And then I found this....a giant peanut butter cup candy mold...and I decided to make my

 husband a giant peanut butter cup too!

And this is after the big peanut bautter cup came out from the freezer, after I added the top.
